Faith Formation

Faith Formation forms children and adults in their faith life. Our mission is to fill the needs of our parish community and beyond. Along with many opportunities to participate in our programs, activities, and many events, volunteers are needed to develop our faith community. Several areas require additional training such as Safe Environment and Background checks.

Faith Formation Committee – Responsible for determining the goals and objectives to meet the educational needs of the entire parish community and for monitoring  and evaluating the programs (not including the OCS system) designed to carry out these goals and objectives.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word Leader - Leader prepares and leads the session for children K-2nd grade on Sundays during the 10:00am Mass.

Faith Formation Catechist -  Teach the Catholic faith to students.

Faith Formation Aide - Assist in teaching Catholic faith to students.

Faith Formation Support Staff - Assist with organization and traffic.

VBS Staff - Assist with teaching or support (during the day) in mid June for a week of Vacation Bible School.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) or RCIC (Children) Catechist - Catholic Catechist will be part of a team to teach adults and/or children in RCIA process and in preparing people for the sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Faith.

RCIA/RCIC Sponsor – A Catholic willing to sponsor an RCIA candidate through the process.

RCIA/RCIC Support Staff - Assist in organization and refreshments when RCIA meets.

Faith Sharing Group Leader - Directs and leads people in prayer and discussion including Adult Bible Study and Scripture Study.
